Drainbow Trout

Project background

Worth Loving focuses on supporting creative ideas and events that challenge, communicate and educate people on environmental issues. New Zealand’s Worth Loving is the current project which concentrates on raising awareness about coastal pollution, highlighting its effect on marine life by painting large scale murals in major cities.

Queenstown’s ‘Drainbow Trout’ is the first mural of the NZWL tour; it depicts a rainbow trout with a sink drain for a stomach, rubbish that it has presumably consumed is pouring out.

My involvement

I teamed up with Worth Loving to deliver short but precise account of each of the five mural processes. Each mural occurs in a restricted time-frame; my role was to work with the artist to film, edit and produce a 3 minute educational video
